Hex steel mesh is mainly used to fasten the refractory ducts linings, etc. Catalytic cracker, reactors, cyclones and u-type actifier ducts in oil and chemical industry; Furnaces linings erosion resistant, ducts elbow in electrical industry; Furnaces, actifier reactors in petroleum refinery. Alloys(1Cr13) mainly for refractory resistant, 1Cr18Ni9Ti or 0Cr18Ni9 for erosion resisant.

Hex steel mesh is a an unique honeycombed steel designed to provide excellent retention and reinforcement of thin wall refractories and fully complements dense hydraulic and chemically bonded refractories in resisting erosion.
Use of hex steel mesh:
Since the flexibility of hex steel mesh allows it to be rolled, easily conforms to circular shapes. It is ideal for lining Ducts, Furnaces, Reactor Vessels, Cyclones, Flue Gas Lines and other high temperature equipment of virtually any shape or configuration.
Application of hex steel mesh:
Process plant which is subject to the passage of erosive gas streams, especially at high temperature, benefit by cladding with Hexmetal infilled with erosion resistant refractories. Typical applications include Cyclones, Flue Gas Lines, Reactor Vessels, Windboxes, Fan Casings, Burner Quarls: in fact any vessel or section that is subject to erosion or abrasion.
